Maki, BINI top Billboard PH's Hot 100

OPM took another win as music and entertainment magazine Billboard Philippines finally released last Wednesday, July 3, the first Billboard Philippines Hot 100 Chart.
Topping the chart was alternative/city pop singer-songwriter Maki's viral song “Dilaw.”
As expected, the nation's girl group, BINI, made it to the list and snatched four spots on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
Some of their songs that made it to the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 Chart were “Salamin, Salamin” at the second spot, “Pantropiko” at the fourth spot, “Karera” at the seventh, and “Lagi” at the ninth spot.
The last OPM artist to hop with them was soloist TJ Monterde with his song “Palagi” at the 10th spot.
They were joined by international pop singer Sabrina Carpenter with her viral hits “Please Please Please” and “Espresso” in third and sixth spots respectively.
Also present in the top 10 list were Billie Eilish at the fifth spot with her alternative rock song “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” at the fifth spot and Tommy Richman's “Million Dollar Baby” at the eighth spot.
Starting July 3, Billboard Philippines will now release its Billboard Philippines Hot 100 every Wednesday containing the list of “the biggest singles and tracks in the country, encompassing both Filipino and global songs” to “offer a comprehensive and in-depth look at the listening patterns and evolving taste profiles of audiences all over the country.”
Following their first-ever release, Billboard Philippines explained on their website the process of finalizing their ranks for Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
“Chart ranking will be based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of available audio and video music services, as well as download sales -- which are reflected from purchases made directly from full-service digital music retailers,” they wrote on their website.
