Gabbi Garcia finds her 'best companion' in content creation

With millions of followers across her social media platforms, Gabbi Garcia is truly living up to her status, not only as a sought-after artist and endorser but also as a prominent content creator and influencer.

Gabbi Garcia is indeed one of the accomplished young celebrities of her generation as she celebrated her fruitful 10 years in the showbiz industry last March. Her successful feat is evidenced by her various TV projects, including her iconic roles in Mga Lihim ni Urduja and Unbreak My Heart. She is also set to portray Alena in the most-anticipated fantasy series, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.

The Sparkle artist has recently achieved another milestone by being selected as one of the hosts of the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night, alongside Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards, former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, American TV personality Jeannie Mai, and host/eventologist Tim Yap.

Discovering a creative collaboration

Reinforcing her versatility and credibility as an artist, Gabbi has been tagged as a “global endorser,” collaborating with various international brands as a sought-after ambassador.

Global smartphone brand Xiaomi is one of the companies that has chosen Gabbi as its Philippine representative for the past three years. For her, this is close to her heart because she considers it as an important tool in her journey as a content creator.

“Very blessed to be with them [Xiaomi] since 2021,” Gabbi shared during the Redmi Note 13 Series launch in Bangkok, Thailand. “It's such a good companion when it comes to content creation. It's an easy access for good quality camera. It fits right in my pocket lalo na ako mahilig mag-travel, mahilig akong gumawa ng content (especially for me who loves to travel and create content). It's really the best phone that I have.”

She added, “It's such an important tool when it comes to content creation, social media, and also reviewing my projects online… I feel like it's a good partnership with my line of work and their product, because their products are topnotch; it's 100 percent quality which I love.”

Tomi Adrias, Xiaomi Philippines head of marketing, described Gabbi as a perfect embodiment of the values that the company upholds. “As a brand, Xiaomi has always been dynamic… always for the youth, at the same time we try to be always friends with our users. I think those are the values that we are very much proud of as a brand. And choosing Gabbi Garcia as one of our ambassadors, she is a perfect embodiment of these type of values that we share, always dynamic. “Even if she's doing a lot of things, she manages to maintain a very good image… very aspirational in the perspective of our target audience,” Tomi continued. “Putting into the perspective when Gabbi uses the phone, the Redmi Note smartphone, magagamit niya 'yan (she can use this) in different ways. Of course, she travels a lot, she takes lots of good photos, siympre kailangan mo rin ng (you also need) long-lasting battery and all. We're very happy to have Gabbi Garcia as one of our ambassadresses and we're looking forward to many more activities with her with our Xiaomi fans.”

Under the concept of “Every Shot iconic,” five phone models were launched including Redmi Note Series 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note Series 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note Series 13 Pro, Redmi Note Series 13 5G, and Redmi Note 13. Among the highlighted features include an ultra-high resolution 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and an impressive 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED curved display. It also introduced the Redmi Watch 4 equipped with a square ultra-large 1.97″ AMOLED display and Redmi Buds 5 Pro with up to 52dB active noise cancellation (ANC).

Over the last three years Gabbi Garcia's partnership with the brand led her to find an unexpected companion in her creative journey - her trusty Xiaomi smartphone. “My favorite feature would be the camera, it's something else. We tried it when we toured around Bangkok and it really is beautiful. The camera has 200 megapixels, the AMOLED is also beautiful because even in the dark, you can still see the screen…the zoom, everything,” she shared.

As an influencer and content creator with a substantial online presence - 4.2M followers on TikTok, 9.9M on TikTok, 13M on Facebook, and 1.35M subscribers on YouTube, as of this writing - Gabbi's Xiaomi smartphone serves as a connection between her and her followers. It's not only about the device, but it's also about the stories, the sentiments, and the creativity that she weaves into the content she produces.

On the beat with pop idols

Apart from Gabbi as its Philippine representative, Xiaomi also partnered with BamBam Kunpimook (also known as BamBam from GOT7) as the first brand ambassador for Southeast Asia. Drawing Inspiration from the concept of “Every Shot Iconic” from Redmi Note 13 Series, the partnership “will inspire new generations around the world, as BamBam serves as an excellent role model who has showcased his great effort and skills in his unique way, representing the new generation's wise use of technology.”

Just recently, another iconic P-pop group, , joined Xiaomi Philippines as the newest member of #TeamRedmiNote. As brand ambassadors, SB19's Stell, Josh, Justin, Ken, and Pablo of SB19 will be involved in different activities and campaigns organized by the company to engage Xiaomi fans and A'TINs in the zone for #OurIconicMoment.

During the Xiaomi Fan Festival held at the SM by the Bay in Pasay on April 20, the P-pop group took the stage and brought delight to their fans and followers with an electrifying performance, igniting an atmosphere of excitement and celebration.
