Hit 2022 musical 'Mula sa Buwan' will return this August

It's a very busy 2024 for theater

Filipino theater is having a great year this 2024 as the hit musical Mula sa Buwan is coming back to the stage this August.

Mula sa Buwan's upcoming rerun was announced during the closing night of Bar Boys last Sunday, May 19, at the Power Mac Center Spotlight. The cast -- Gab Pangilinan, Myke Solomon, and MC Dela Cruz -- treated theater fans with a stunning teaser from the hit 2022 musical.

In the rerun, Myke Salomon will reprise his role as Cyrano while his real-life partner Gab Pangilinan will again play Roxane. MC Dela Cruz will play Christian which was previously portrayed by Markki Stroem.

It is based on Edmond Rostand's “timeless classic” Cyrano de Bergerac, and is set in 1940s Manila. Mula sa Buwan is play about “wide-eyed dreamers, fools, and misfits where harana, kundiman, together with passion and genuine friendships, abound.”

Barefoot Theatre Collaborative, Mula sa Buwan's production house, has also released tickets and are available via TicketWorld for the opening weekend shows from August 16 to 18 at Samsung Performing Arts Theatre in Makati City.

Tickets prices range from P1,029 to P3,707. Balcony sides cost P1,029, balcony center tickets are available for P1,441, balcony premium sides are priced at P1,647, and balcony premium center is at P2,059.

Meanwhile, loge sides cost P2,368, loge premium sides cost P2,574, and P3,089.

Lastly, orchestra seats are divided into five sections; orchestra box costs P2,574 (limited seats available), orchestra sides for P2,368, orchestra center and orchestra VIP sides for P3,089, and orchestra VIP center is priced at P3,707.
