Following his record-breaking win, Carlos took to social media his gratitude to everyone who supported him before and during the event, including those who guided his and the Philippines' journey.

(Despite the many challenges I've been through. I am confident because I know you are with me, Lord God. I am so happy that I performed from my heart).

(I am proud of the performance of the PHI MAG team and we will continue to do better. Thank you, Lord, for always guiding and protecting us).

His girlfriend, Chloe, was of course on the list of people Carlos thanked for his win and the gymnast made sure to show appreciation for her undying support.

(Thank you so much, my love, for helping me have a better mindset, for always watching my games, for taking care of me, and for the love you give me. I appreciate everything you do and always hold them close to me during competitions).

To top all these achievements, Carlos and his team are now eyeing gold medals in the upcoming Paris Olympics to be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
