Takoyaki stall finally awards P100,000 to FB user who fell victim to its April Fools' joke

April Fools is one, if not, the most fun annual customs. The wholesome jokes provide positive vibes to people. However, others take pranks and jokes too far.
On April 1, Taragis Takoyaki food stall posted a challenge on its Facebook page. The challenge was, the first person who tattoos the stall's logo on their forehead will win P100,000.
One Facebook user named Ramil Ablano saw the post thinking it was a real challenge. He got the tattoo and sent it to the brand.
The takoyaki stall posted the images of Ramil and reminded everyone that the post was just a joke and they are not accountable. This post received backlash from netizens, urging the food stall to give the money to Ramil.
“Our April Fools Day post was published earlier in the day. After that, we received a number of messages claiming that our post was executed and that someone had taken it seriously.”
After receiving backlash, the food stall took down the original April Fools's Day post.
After much online discourse, the owner of Taragis Takoyaki personally gave the P100,000 to Ramil. Several netizens and content creators also heard about the incident and donated money, appliances, gadgets, and even sneakers to Ramil and his son.
