Pia Wurtzbach holds successful book signing
It looks like former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach is leaning toward her post-pageant career as a novelist as she recently held a packed book signing at a local mall.
In a post on her official Instagram account, Pia posted multiple photos of a book signing event for her book, Queen of the Universe: A Novel: Love, Truth, Beauty, at Gateway 2 in Cubao, Quezon City. In the caption to the post, Pia expressed her gratitude to the people who have been buying her debut novel and hoped that it brought them “joy and inspiration”.
This signing event in the Philippines comes after Pia successfully launched Queen of the Universe: A Novel: Love, Truth, Beauty at the Manila International Book Fair, where she received an overwhelming response to her book, leading her to express her gratitude for all the “tags, stories, post and reels” from her followers that helped ease the nerves she was feeling before the Manila International Book Fair.
Pia has also launched her novel at Design Orchard Singapore earlier this month.
Aside from events here and Singapore, Pia has already revealed that she is currently planning a United States book tour for the book, with signings planned for Hawaii, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Arizona, Oregon, Texas, and New York City next year.
Pia first teased Queen of the Universe back in July with an Instagram post showing the book's title page.
A month later, Pia revealed her book cover on her Instagram account and revealed that the main character of the book would be named Cleo.
Aside from her book, Pia also recently delivered a TEDx talk in Singapore, even sharing behind-the-scenes video from the event
Pia delivered her first TedX talk back in December 2021, opening up about her personal mental health struggles and how her abusive first serious relationship left massive damage to every aspect of her life.
