Pia Wurtzbach set to launch her book in Singapore today
Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach continues to put in the work to make a name for herself in the world of books and publishing as she continues to hold events even outside the country to promote her debut novel.
In a recent post on her Instagram account, Pia posted a photo of herself posing beside a shelf displaying her novel, Queen of the Universe: A Novel: Love, Truth, Beauty, tagging the location as Design Orchard Singapore. In the caption to the post, Pia wrote that she was looking forward to meeting fans and readers today at the book's launch at Design Orchard.
Design Orchard had earlier announced the launch on their own Instagram account, calling on fans and followers to pre-register for the event as there are only limited seats to the event.
The Singapore book launch is just the first international event that Pia has planned for her novel. Back in October, Pia announced that she is currently planning a United States book tour for the book, with signings planned for Hawaii, San Francisco and Los Angeles, Arizona, Oregon, Texas, and New York City next year.
Pia had already successfully launched her book at the Manila International Book Fair. She received an overwhelming response to her book, leading her to express her gratitude for all the “tags, stories, post and reels” from her followers that helped ease the nerves she was feeling before the Manila International Book Fair.
Pia first teased Queen of the Universe back in July with an Instagram post showing the book's title page.
A month later, Pia revealed her book cover on her Instagram account and revealed that the main character of the book would be named Cleo.
