Telco player aims to empower budget-conscious Pinoys by launching new services at reasonable rates

DITO Telecommunity launch
Committed to becoming more "inclusive," this new telco player is growing by leaps and bounds.

With more than 7 million active subscribers and rising, DITO Telecommunity has definitely disrupted the telco landscape in the Philippines.

During a launch party in Bonifacio High Street in BGC in Taguig City, the telecommunications company feted their success by launching two new products: its Mobile Postpaid FLEXPlans and its Home UNLI 5G WIFI.

According to Evelyn Jimenez, the Chief Commercial Officer, the launch of their new offerings is a testament to their commitment to empowering all Filipinos by giving them access to affordable 5G connectivity.

“While we embrace the power of technology, we also recognize the significance of making these advancements accessible to all. Inclusivity is the driving force behind our innovation, as we strive to empower individuals and communities with our transformative mobile and broadband solutions,” Jimenez said.

The company is also gradually checking the important marks in a user's "must-have" list: speed and reliability. It received awards from OpenSignal, an independent mobile analytics company, in Upload Speed Experience, Availability, Excellent Consistent Quality, and Core Consistent Quality.

At the same time, the Availability Award they received recognized the company for providing a strong and reliable network connection in various places where people commonly go, allowing users to access the network and stay connected easily. All these accolades in just their 2nd year of operations is definitely a breakthrough achievement for the new telco player.

Along with the launch of its new postpaid service, the company also introduced its Mobile Number Portability (MNP) option to new subscribers, allowing them to make the switch and keep their favorite Prepaid or Postpaid number from their previous telco.

We're proud to say that there's a postpaid plan for everyone,” affirmed Jasper Evangelista, Director for Brand & Marketing.

Part of an elevated digital lifestyle is enjoying high-speed living without limits. DITO also launched the Home UNLI 5G WIFI, a postpaid broadband subscription that enables subscribers to enjoy top-notch 5G internet speeds at home of up to 500Mbps.

Joyce Capacillo, the Head of Broadband added; “Launching our Home UNLI 5G is another step towards connecting and empowering Filipino communities as they pursue their passions. With this service, Filipino households can now enjoy unlimited high-speed connectivity at an affordable price, enabling them to go all-out in their daily activities at home."
