The rock opera ballet 'Rama, Hari' is just one of the projects Karylle is currently working on.

Rama, Hari, the hit Filipino rock opera ballet that features the work of multiple National Artists, is set to be staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines this September, with actress and It's Showtime host Karylle Tatlonghari as part of the cast.

Karylle will be playing the lead role of Sita, alongside Shiela Valderrama-Martinez, while Nica Tupas alternates. Playing the role of Rama are Gian Magdangal and Arman Ferrer with Vien King alternating.

Meanwhile, playing the villain Ravana are Poppert Bernadas and Mathew San Jose. Jonel Mojico alternates. Audie Gemora is also part of the cast as King Dasaratha.

Other cast members include Miah Canton, Raflesia Bravo, Katrine Sunga, Maron Rozelle Mabana, Paw Castillo, and Jon Abella.

Rama, Hari features the work of five National Artists, namely Alice Reyes for direction and choreography, Ryan Cayabyab for music, Bienvenido Lumbera for lyrics and libretto, Salvador Bernal for production design, and Rolando Tinio for translations.

The show will start on September 15 and have stagings on the 16, 22nd, and 23rd of the month.

Rama, Hari is just one of the projects that Karylle is participating in even as she works as a co-host on the noontime variety show It's Showtime. The long-running noontime variety show recently announced that it would be making the move to GTV, with its first episode on the channel set to air on July 1.

The airing of It's Showtime on GTV also marks a sort of return for Karylle to the Kapuso network, which she left back in 2008. Karylle was part of the cast of Encantadia, Etheria, and Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas.
