Manila Cathedral to hold guided tours this month

Tourists and even residents of Manila who want to take part in a guided tour of the famed Manila Cathedral will have the chance to do so as the church is set to conduct them a week from now.
The Manila Cathedral announced on its official Facebook page that as part of the country's Independence Day celebrations, the cathedral will hold an Open House from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guided tours will be held at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., while a Pipe Organ mini-concert will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Mass will also be held at 7:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.
The Manila Cathedral guided tours are just one-way tourists and visitors can get to enjoy the charms of the Walled City of Intramuros. Visitors can also rent Filipiniana while visiting Fort Santiago by heading to Vestidor, a store located at Mercadillo at Chamber 4, Fort Santiago, Intramuros. For just P350 an hour, visitors can wear a barong tagalog for males or a baro't saya for females.
The Mercadillo is a newly opened store in Intramuros that features local food brands, handicrafts, and souvenirs.
Renting out Filipiniana attire to visitors and guided tours of the Manila Cathedral are just one of the ways that people can enjoy the Walled City.
The Intramuros Administration previously provided free guided tours of Intramuros last year on two separate occasions. The first free guided tour was on October 15 as part of the celebration of Museum and Galleries Month. Halloween was the second time that guided tours were provided.
The Intramuros Administration has also participated in the celebration of other holidays around the world, like when Fort Santiago turned green in March last year as part of the St. Patrick's Day celebrations.
