Elon Musk is once again the wealthiest man in the world according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index

It looks like Elon Musk's fortunes have changed once more as the tech mogul regains his top spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
On the list dated June 1, 2023, Elon tops the list with a total net worth of $192 billion, which is a $1.98 billion improvement from where he was previously.
Relegated to second place is Bernard Arnault, the owner of luxury empire LVMH or Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, who last year overtook Elon Musk with a total net worth of $163 billion. Currently, Arnault is worth $187 billion.
Rounding out the top 10 are Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Microsoft's Bill Gates, Oracle's Larry Ellison, Microsoft's Steve Ballmer, Berkshire Hathaway's Warren Buffett, Google's Larry Page and Sergey Brin, and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg. Of the top 10, only two billionaires are not involved in the tech industry.
Elon Musk heading back to the top of the list is a reversal from the past few months, where he lost a record amount from his personal fortune. According to the Guinness World Records organization, his involvement in Twitter and the subsequent fallout earned him the record for “largest loss of personal fortune.” According to the organization, Musk may have lost as much as $182 billion since November 2021, although other sources estimate he may have lost as much as $200 billion.
Before getting involved in Twitter, Elon Musk was at one point projected to become the world's first trillionaire due to the rising stock prices of two companies he has a stake in, Tesla and SpaceX.
While Arnault may have relinquished the top spot, the French billionaire's business is in no danger of closing anytime soon. Just last April, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy became the first European company to reach a valuation of $500 billion.
