Andi Eigenmann expresses admiration for her island life
You know how most people would usually envy former actress Andi Eigenmann and her current island life in Siargao. We're having one of those moments again as the happy islander fills us in on the life she's having there.
Based on her Instagram feed and YouTube vlogs, Andi's everyday life on the island entails managing her business Kanaway Snack Bar and Kanaway Surf School with her fiance Philmar Alipayo, going on surf sessions, swimming and surfing with their kids, taking care of the island and making sure to maintain its beauty, and a lot more other things.
One of the latest additions to her daily activities is to embark on a sunrise surf. In her new Instagram post, she admitted, “@chepoxz [Philmar Alipayo] has been pushing me to do this for a while now. Although I am a morning person, my mornings just always started after the sunrise, and not during… and my oh my, how well my days have been the past week. Rising early, no alarm, still with enough sleep. Nothing beats the energy this gives…. kaya pala ang saya ni papa twing umaga!”
Andi further thanked Philmar for introducing her to the beauty of the island life and said, “I literally texted him to say thank you, for always introducing me to the finer things life. To see the beauty of this island in all its facets. Oh the influence this place just gives me. Still always teary eyed whenever I get to tell myself, this is home.”
Last 2017, Andi decided to step out of the limelight of showbiz and entertainment and decided to permanently live in Siargao with Philmar and her three kids: Ellie, Lilo, and Koa.
Although her past life was met with a lot of controversy, Andi is happily living her best life now in Siargao and couldn't ask for more. She's a progressive mom to her three kids, a loving partner to Philmar, and an influential woman in her own right.
