This local foam manufacturer is 17-year awardee of Reader's Digest

Local foam manufacturer has marked another milestone after it received its Reader's Digest award for the Platinum Most Trusted Brand in the mattress category.

This is its 17th year of receiving recognition from Reader's Digest, and it is based “on consumer surveys conducted across multiple countries in Asia, measuring perceptions of brand trust, quality, value, and intent to purchase.”

In a special event conducted on Saturday, April 5, in Mandaluyong, local brand Uratex formally received the award from the international magazine. It was attended by the brand's management, including its founder and chief executive officer, Natividad “Naty” Cheng, and Reader's Digest Advertising and Retail Director for the Asia and Pacific Region, Sheron White.

“Uratex has earned the trust of the masses, and that is no small feat. It means that you have consistently delivered all your promises, [and] you've treated your customers with respect, like part of your family…” said Sheron White on Saturday.

The company's managing director, Peachy Medina, said it is a “meaningful affirmation” for the brand to be recognized by Reader's Digest for 17 years. “Being recognized as a Trusted Brand for 17 years is a meaningful affirmation for us. Trust is something that's earned, and we believe it's built through how we serve people--whether it's through the products we make, the service we give, or the promises we keep.”

The company's founder, Natividad “Naty” Cheng, also shared her gratitude to the crowd, “For over five decades, we've stood by our customers through comfort, quality, and care. Trust is something we earn every night. And we are grateful that we continue to be a brand Filipinos can rely on.”
