Abi Marquez recently got the approval of Gordon Ramsay for her Beef Wellington lumpia.

Lumpia Queen Abi Marquez is still over the moon with her collaboration with British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay who approved her Beef Wellington lumpia dish.

She looked back on her interaction with the chef on GTV's cooking talk show Lutong Bahay with Mikee Quintos and Chef Dudut.

Like her millions of viewers, Lutong Bahay host Mikee Quintos was curious about Abi's reaction when Gordon pretended not to like her Beef Wellington lumpia.

“Totoo ba 'yung reaksiyon mo doon? [He pranked you] talaga? Mukha kang natakot talaga, e,” Mikee asked Abi.

(Was your reaction real? Did he really prank you? You look like you were really scared.)

Abi said, "yes" that her reaction was indeed real.

Despite that short moment of being scared, Abi said Gordon was very professional and fun to work with.

“Sobrang professional niya (Gordon). Noong bini-brief namin siya [na] 'ganito po 'yung gagawin natin,' sabi niya lang, 'sige, okay na 'yan,'” said Abi.

(He was very professional. When we were briefing him about what we were going to do, he just said, 'alright, that's okay.')

She added, “As in one take lahat, so mayroon akong uncut version. Talagang pinakaba niya ako.”

(We did everything in one take. I have an uncut version of our collaboration. He really pranked me.)

Abi also added that Gordon is kind and only scary when he tries food.

“Mabait siya. Nakakatakot lang 'pag tinikman niya na 'yung luto mo,” said Abi.

(He is really kind. It gets scary when he tries your food.)

The Lumpia Queen also revealed that Gordon really enjoyed her cooking, “Kumain pa siya ng niluto ko. Kinain niya pa.”

(He ate what I cooked. He ate my food.)
