As expected, it has grown on some netizens, especially since a lot of athletes share their stories and experiences on social networking sites, such as TikTok.

This paved the way for some Olympic features to become viral, like the beloved Olympic villa chocolate muffin.

Filipino golfer Bianca Pagdanganan did not forget to join the trend and gave herself a taste of the infamous chocolate muffin.

She uploaded a video of her enjoying a piece on her TikTok account saying, β€œThis is for my friends who have been asking me about the muffin.”

To ensure that Bianca gives her just and credible verdict about the chocolate muffin, she tasted all sides of her piece, had a hearty bite of the center part of the pastry, and called it β€œvery chocolatey.”

After munching on the big piece of Olympic Villa chocolate muffin, Bianca gave her insights about the viral pastry and said, β€œ[My] final verdict [is] lasa siyang Fudgee Bar (local chocolate snack).”

(My final verdict is [that the Olympic Villa chocolate muffin] tastes like Fudgee Bar.)

Bianca's verdict about the infamous Olympic Villa chocolate muffin garnered reactions from Filipino fans who also wanted to have a bite of the famous pastry.

Some said they were surprised at Bianca's verdict that it tasted like Fudgee Bar while there was a netizen who poked fun at all the commotion about the Olympic Villa chocolate muffin only for it to taste like a local chocolate cake bar that is easily accessible to Filipinos.

While a lot of Olympians have shown their love for the Olympic Villa chocolate muffin, the man who started the trend about it was Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen.

In just a few weeks in the Olympic Villa, Henrik has uploaded several TikTok videos dedicated to the famous chocolate muffins and was eventually dubbed the β€œMuffin Man.”
