Find something familiar and new at this popular NY steakhouse in Quezon City

When Woflgang's Steakhouse opened its first restaurant in the Philippines in 2016, it created a lot of buzz in the food and beverage (F&B) sector. A New York favorite, the restaurant has been serving its famous dry-aged steak for eight years now and it continues to expand its footprint in the country.
The steakhouse recently opened two new branches, one at Araneta City in Quezon City and the other in Boracay. The new branch in Quezon City, Wolfgang's Steakhouse Grill, is the first in the northern part of Metro Manila and it's located in the newest premium mall in the city, Gateway Mall 2.
This new branch features a similar ambiance to the other branches. Tableware neatly arranged on the tables covered in white tablecloths. The dark wood ceiling has mosaic accents and the serves donned in white button-downs, a tie, black pants, and white aprons.
The brand strictly uses USDA Prime Black Angus beef and each branch has its own proprietary designed aging room. The meat that comes from the United States goes straight to this temperature-controlled room and stays there for 28 days.
What's different about the new branch in Quezon City is that the restaurant offers a Music and Dine Night every Wednesday where diners are serenaded with classical music from conservatory of music students.
Classic and new on the menu
The premium restaurant is known for its signature porterhouse steak served on a hot white dish. The steakhouse likewise serves the classic shrimp cocktail, caesar salad, and whole lobsters (steamed or broiled). There's also the classic side dishes like the lobster mac & cheese, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes.
Aside from these classic dishes, the steakhouse also serves new dishes specifically made for its grill menu.
One of its tasty appetizers is the skirt steak tacos. Thinly sliced USDA Prime skirt steak is served with flour tortillas, sour cream and chimichurri.
A favorite item on the grill specials menu are the classic Wolfgang burger and the corned beef reuben sandwich. The reuben sandwich in particular is a standout. Chunks of house made corned beef, sauerkraut, and melted gruyere cheese are sandwiched between toasted rye bread slices. The sandwich is also served with potato chips.
Another must-try on the menu is the lomo saltado. A lomo saltado is a Peruvian stir-fry dish made with beef sirloin stir-fried with onions, tomatoes, and peppers. The Wolfgang version is slices of steak served on a bed of tomato and onion wedges. A dollop of creamy chimichurri is put on the steak slices and then topped with fresh cilantro.
For dessert, must-tries include the classic New York cheesecake and key lime pie.
For eight years, the food and service of the restaurant hasn't changed. While it has expanded its menu in recent years, the brand is staying true to its roots--on 4 Park Avenue, Manhattan in New York City.
