Anyone with a knowledge of Filipino pop culture knows the gay slang “Stress Drilon” that stands for being stressed. Now a milk tea shop has capitalized on that slang term to come up with an ad featuring the person that inspired it, Ces Drilon.

Milk tea shop CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice posted its now viral ad on its social media accounts over the weekend, featuring Ces Drilon in various stressful situations like putting salt in her coffee, getting splashed by a passing car during a downpour, and stepping on some dog excrement. After each stressful situation, Ces is shown hitting an oversized CoCo tumbler.

As of this writing, the CoCo ad on the milk tea shop's official Facebook account is at 98,000 reactions, with more than 6,000 comments and more than 25,000 shares.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, people were equally generous with their praise for the advertisement. People have even edited the ad to only feature the parts where Ces Drilon is hitting the giant milk tea tumbler in frustration.

Another X user even dubbed Ces as “Actress of the Year” and asked when she would debut in a full-length film.

Ces' former colleague, TJ Manotoc, called it “ONE OF THE BEST ADS EVER” and sharing that he was happy that she was finally cashing in on the Stress Drilon “meme”.

Of course, the woman herself only had gratitude for the viral fame she is now receiving.

The advertisement was a project by The Gigil Advertising Group, whose work has already been recognized at the New York Festivals, the YouTube Ads Awards, and the Tambuli Awards, just to name a few.
