This quaint breakfast place in Katipunan serves elevated tapsilog

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the preferred food of Filipinos in the morning? Sinangag meals. There are many breakfast places around the metro but there's one in Katipunan that elevates the humple tapsilog.
Called Almusal Cafe, this quaint breakfast place in Katipunan is located at Pop Up. Any Katipunan kid would know that Pop Up is a drinking place as it houses a number of restaurants that offer alcoholic drinks.
But opening a breakfast place at Pop Up actually makes sense because breakfast food is a good hangover cure. Aside from lugaw and goto, comfort Filipino breakfast food is the best meal after a night of drinking.

The meal is topped off with malunggay chimichurri and atchara. As Kara puts it, “Ito yata ang pinakamagandang tapsilog na natikman ko sa buong buhay ko (I think this is the prettiest tapsilog I've tasted in my whole life).”
Apart from the beef belly tapa, the cafe also offers other breakfast food such as honey brown butter bacon, bangus a la pobre, french toast, sausage egg n' cheese, and pancakes. Almusal Cafe also has a wide range of coffee drinks you can choose from.
