Pearls are timeless pieces of jewelry that are a staple in any woman's wardrobe. In recent years, however, men are also adding pearls on their accessories list.

In this day and age, the opulence of pearls still remains but they have since transcended age, style, and gender.
In a report conducted by fashion tech company Lyst, they found out that in 2021 there has been a 150% increase in men purchasing jewelry, a 17% increase in searches for “men's pearls,” and an apparent increase in searches for pearl styles; 67% for anklets and 25% for earrings.
In line with that, luxury brands have been recently collaborating with jewelers to create pieces of jewelry, specifically pearls, that would look good on any gender. Among the notable ones are Comme des Garçons x Mikimoto pearls and Supreme x Tiffany Co.
Pearls have also been predominantly seen on various international artists such as A$AP Rocky who's one of the first ones to adopt the style in 2019, Harry Styles who's frequently sporting a pearl earring since his 2019 Met Gala look, and Tyler, The Creator who rocked a custom pearl belt and chain during the release of his latest album.
Adding in these appearances from influential people, pearls are on their way to becoming the next chain for men and all other genders. And because of how classy and perennial they are, your admiration for them won't just be a phase.
