Winona Ryder is channeling chic, goth vibes in Marc Jacobs' new campaign

Stranger Things actress Winona Ryder and esteemed fashion designer Marc Jacobs have built their friendship over the years since the ageless celebrity modeled for the designer's 2003 campaign. This sparked a series of collaborations between the two making Winona a familiar face for the brand.

And this year, the designer once again tapped the Beetlejuice star to become his muse and model his latest bag, the J Marc Shoulder.
Photographed by Harley Weir, the global campaign features Winona rocking a pixie cut hairstyle inspired by her character in the film Girl, Interrupted. In the photos, she is seen wearing archival fashion pieces made of tulle, leather, and lace, as well as Marc Jacob's signature Kiki Boots.

The new bag, styling the brand's signature interlocking “J” enclosure, draws inspiration from the brand's early-aughts icon, the Stam Bag, and can be used as a clutch, crossbody, and shoulder bag.
Five days before he dropped the latest design, Marc Jacobs teased everyone with the latest collection on the brand's Instagram account. He captioned the post, “Winona Ryder and Marc Jacobs throughout the years. Something new coming June 1.”
The “J Marc” shoulder bag is now available online on the Marc Jacobs website and its physical stores.
