Kapuso beauty queens look beautiful in black

March 2025 is closing in on an incredible feat for the Philippines as Filipina tennis prodigy Alexandra “Alex” Eala makes history at the Miami Open 2025. Alex Eala, who by the time of her wins was a wildcard contender, defeated French Open champion and world No. 25 Jelena Ostapenko and reigning Australian Open champion and world No. 5 Madison Keys. She then secured her spot in the semi-finals when she showed her Filipina strength against five-time grand slam champion world number two Iga Swiatek in the quarterfinal of the Miami Open, 6-2, 7-5, on Thursday morning, March 27. Her back-to-back feats at the Miami Open 2025 put her at no. 75 WTA rankings, a huge jump from her no. 140 spot. On Friday morning, March 28, Alex faces one of her biggest games yet, where she will go head-to-head with the world's No. 4 Jessica Pegula of the United States. Local stars and personalities took over the runway of the much-awaited Bench Body of Work fashion show last March 21 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Among those who conquered the runway of the local fashion event were weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, volleyball players Eya Laure and John Vic De Guzman, and footballer Anton Del Rosario.
