The '90s to early 2000s era was a time to live for the Philippines as it introduced many promising actors, singers, and TV personalities who eventually became Pinoy heartthrobs.

Among them are Dingdong Dantes, Piolo Pascual, and Diether Ocampo to name a few. These names have become prominent in Philippine show business and are still iconically thriving.

Aside from those mentioned above, one name continues to rise in modern times.

Jericho Rosales, popularly known as Echo, is one of the Pinoy heartthrobs that continue to steal the hearts of the Filipinos. He's done iconic television shows, movies, and show-stopping music that still rings people's ears.

He soared to fame when he won one of noontime variety shows' talent search, Mr. Pogi. From then on, he did drama series with other notable Filipino actors such as Kristine Hermosa, Angel Locsin, Jennylyn Mercado, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith that reached international screens as well.

Even after two decades in show business, Echo remains one of the most sought-after personalities today. From singing to acting and business, he knows how to play the ball right.

Echo even passed his baton to his son, Santino, as being one of the most handsome faces in the Philippines. Like his father, he is active in sports and does business while doing modeling gigs.

To prove his relevance in today's time and trends, here are some of Echo's trendy outfits that could even count as Gen Z OOTDs

Filipino contemporary artists gathered in Makati City for a weekend full of art at Art Fair Philippines, which was held from February 21 to 23, 2025. One of the many artists who showed their work was Carlo Tanseco, who highlighted the culture of sari-sari stores (neighborhood sundry stores) in the Philippines in his exhibition called “Sari-Sari Sabi, Sabi”. He reimagined the logos, colors, and fonts of Filipino snacks into three-dimensional sculptural pieces and incorporating inspirational messages. He completed the collection in nine and a half months. According to Carlo, the snacks and food featured in his new pieces are “markers” of several chapters in his life. To complete each piece, Carlo told GMA Lifestyle that he starts with grids and patterns, inspired by his practice as an architect. “My art style… whatever you see now is very similar to the very first show that I've done. It's still the same. I mean, different forms, different shapes, different subjects, but it's really always patterns,” said Carlo. “I start with patterns because I'm an architect by training, so I like a grid. I start with a grid.” Once he establishes the grid and pattern, he would put something to “break the order”. “It's not just a plain [background], and then I put something realistic on top of it to break the order. So I put chaos after the grid, after the background,” Carlo said. In a statement, Carlo Tanseco said his newest collection is “a visual celebration of everyday life, nostalgia, and community.” Take a closer look at Carlo Tanseco's sari-sari store-inspired exhibit in this gallery:
