GMA Thanksgiving Gala: The stunning female fashions of the night

Aside from being an occasion for thanksgiving, a celebration of the 72 years of the Kapuso Network, and a way to help the victims of the recent Abra earthquake, the GMA Thanksgiving Gala was also an opportunity for some of the most stylish female celebrities in the entertainment industry to don some of the most eye-catching fashions for everyone to see.

Whether it is Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, international fashion and style icon Heart Evangelista or beauty queens like Beatrice Luigi Gomez and Celeste Cortesi, the women who attended the GMA Thanksgiving Gala made sure that all eyes were on them.

Alex Eala, who by the time of her wins was a wildcard contender, defeated French Open champion and world No. 25 Jelena Ostapenko and reigning Australian Open champion and world No. 5 Madison Keys. She then secured her spot in the semi-finals when she showed her Filipina strength against five-time grand slam champion world number two Iga Swiatek in the quarterfinal of the Miami Open, 6-2, 7-5, on Thursday morning, March 27. Her back-to-back feats at the Miami Open 2025 put her at no. 75 WTA rankings, a huge jump from her no. 140 spot. On Friday morning, March 28, Alex faces one of her biggest games yet, where she will go head-to-head with the world's No. 4 Jessica Pegula of the United States. Athletes conquer the 'Body of Work' runway

Local stars and personalities took over the runway of the much-awaited Bench Body of Work fashion show last March 21 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Among those who conquered the runway of the local fashion event were weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, volleyball players Eya Laure and John Vic De Guzman, and footballer Anton Del Rosario.
