LOOK: The Miss Universe Top 32 pose for portraits with South Sea pearls

Five days to go and the Miss Universe Philippines crown will be passed on to a new queen who will represent the country in the international Miss Universe pageant. It won't be an easy task, as there are 32 worthy beauties all vying for the crown.

With so many to choose from, it's no wonder that there are a number of challenges and photoshoots that help bring out the individual charm of each of the candidates. From glam shots of the Top 32 to striking headshots, there are plenty of opportunities to discover what's unique about each of them.

Pageant fans who want to find out who stands out the most in the end can watch the first national broadcast of the pageant on May 1, 9:00 a.m., on GMA.

Athletes conquer the 'Body of Work' runway

Local stars and personalities took over the runway of the much-awaited Bench Body of Work fashion show last March 21 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Among those who conquered the runway of the local fashion event were weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, volleyball players Eya Laure and John Vic De Guzman, and footballer Anton Del Rosario.
