Barbie Forteza wears a piece of Klay from 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' for her guesting in 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda'

Sparkle star Barbie Forteza recently hopped on an interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda to talk about her career having been an artist of GMA since 2009.
The Kapuso Primetime Princess shared her beginnings as well as where she currently is right now in this phase of her life. Barbie's set to embark on a new role alongside Sparkle star and Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco in GMA's action-packed series Maging Sino Ka Man.
Barbie will be taking on the role of Monique, an heiress of a business empire who's also disguising herself as a boy going by the name Dino. But before the Sparkle star moves on to another project, she made sure to pay homage to her breakout character Klay in the hit GMA series Maria Clara at Ibarra.
There's no denying that Barbie's portrayal of Klay in the series further cemented her stance as one of the most talented actresses of today having earned numerous accolades from different award-giving bodies and getting the respect of other veteran celebrities in the industry.
That's why it's no surprise that Barbie would want her fans to have a last look at Klay before she moves on to this new role. In her TV guesting for Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Barbie wore a black two-piece ensemble that's actually upcycled from the taffeta black skirt her character Klay wore in Maria Clara at Ibarra.
Barbie's stylist Jan Raroque was able to bring a piece of Klay. In an interview with Preview, Jan explained how he and the Kapuso Primetime Princess wanted to go for a look that's classy but, at the same time, youthful.

“Barbie and I wanted to achieve a timeless but youthful look, and do our part by wearing something sustainable. The dress was actually upcycled from an archive Tafetta Black skirt we used for Klay in Maria Clara at Ibarra,” he shares.

He then paired the upcycled ensemble with a pair of black stilletos from Loubutin, a few diamonds from Love Rocks, and a chic and expensive hair and makeup look from Fatima Mercado.

Barbie's upcycled ensemble is just one of the many stylish outfits the Kapuso Primetime Princess has been rocking lately. As she enters into a new era of her life, Barbie's also taking her fashion style up a notch with the help of her stylist Jan Raroque who's the brains behind her stunning OOTDs.
Jan is the stylist behind her iconic Christian Dior outfit at the press conference of her upcoming series Maging Sino Ka Man.

And who could ever forget Jan's styling for Barbie's look at the GMA Gala 2023? He turned her into a real life princess with that mint green gown from Filipino fashion designer Ehrran Montoya.

There's no doubt that Barbie is at the top of her game, not only just in terms of acting and showbizness but in the realm of fashion as well.
