In partnership with volunteer health professionals and community workers, KK is a roving medical mission in far-flung areas where basic health services are inaccessible. The program also serves in disaster-stricken areas to ensure the health and welfare of victims.
A medical assistance program dedicated to provide indigent Filipinos (certified by the Medical Social Service of public/government hospitals) afflicted with various illnesses with free medicines, surgical supplies and other medical services.
Special cases requiring extensive medical treatments are also being accommodated by the program as Subject of Appeal (SOA) cases featured at the Kapusong Totoo segments of 24 Oras to generate support.
Part of the BB program are special health projects, most of which are line with the monthly themes of the Department of Health.
