GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF) together with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Navy and other volunteers continues with its relief operations for victims of typhoon Pablo in various areas in Mindanao and Southern Visayas.

Relief goods are continuously being transported from Manila to Cebu and Davao, where GMAKF headquarters are located, along with the ongoing repacking of goods in Dumaguete and Davao (designated sites).

To date, GMAKF already extended help to at least 11,082 families or 45,828 individuals from Lingig, Hinatuan, Bislig in Surigao del Sur; CARAGA, Lambangon, Cateel and Bayanga in Davao Oriental; New Bataan and Monkayo in Compostela Valley; Bolhoon in Southern Cebu; and Manjuyod, Sibulan, and Sta. Catalina in Dumaguete.

Donations in kind such as rice, instant noodles, sardines, bottled water, clothes and medicines coming from Davao and nearby areas are welcome to be delivered directly to the GMAKF repacking site at the GMAKF Davao station in Bankerohan, Davao, or at the GMA Regional Station in Cebu.

For donors coming from farther areas, GMAKF wishes to highlight that cash donations are more preferred over material aid. Cash donations can be fully deducted and are exempted from the donor’s tax because GMAKF is a duly certified donee institution by the PCNC, DSWD and the BIR.

Donation may be dropped off directly at the GMA Kapuso Foundation Main Office, 2nd Floor, Kapuso Center, Edsa Diliman, Quezon City, or call their hotlines at (02) 9284299 or (02) 9289351.

Cash donations may also be deposited at any Metrobank, UCPB and Cebuana Lhuiller branches. The complete details for making cash donations are found on the GMA Network portal at www.gmanetwork.com/kapusofoundation.
