Albany, New York - Joseph T. Francia, GMA's First Vice President and Head of International Operations, extended his gratitude to the Great State of New York for declaring February 27 as GMA Network Day, by presenting New York Assemblyman Steven Raga with a special memento.
The gift of appreciation is a part of the Perla de Oriente collection, which was created by missionary visual artist and Philippine Navy Goodwill Ambassador Kristine Soguilon-Lim. The collection embodies the colors of the Philippine Navy and represents important national symbols such as the Anahaw, Sampaguita, Philippine Eagle, Mangga (leaf), and Bangus.
During the New York State Assembly ceremonies in Albany, New York on February 27, Assemblyman Steven Raga also recognized GMA International for promoting Filipino culture in the Filipino-American community.
