Firefly has not only captured the hearts of Filipino moviegoers but also the nod of the juries as it emerged the big winner in the just concluded 2024 Manila International Film Festival in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Aside from winning Best Picture, Alessandra de Rossi also won Best Supporting Actress while Zig Dulay bagged the Best Director award. Firefly creator and writer, GMA Public Affairs Assistant Vice President Anj Atienza also won Best Screenplay.
