This Kuya Kim Atienza ka-lookalike likes making other people happy
In a recent episode of I Juander, host and veteran journalist Susan Enriquez said that it's not enough that only she gets to meet her doppelganger. That's why the longtime journalist brought in Kuya Kim Atienza's ka-lookalike as well.
Meet John Res Cayabyab, Kuya Kim Atienza's funniest ka-lookalike. From his facial features to his stance, John Res looks almost the same as the man full of trivia. And like Kuya Kim, he's also got bountiful jokes that can brighten up your day.
His impersonation story started when he was still in elementary school. He shared, “Noong elementary po lagi akong kinukulit at kinakantyawan ng mga teachers ko and mga kaklase ko para lang hindi matuloy yung quiz namin. Magpe-perform kaming magkakaklase. Magyayaya ako ng isa na kengkoy at makwela lagi. Una talaga inaasar nila akong Bitoy or Michael V. Ginagaya ko 'yung boses.
“Lately ko lang po talaga na-discover 'yung kay Kuya Kim and ang prini-prepare ko lang po is damit. Kapag nakita ko po sa salamin na kamukha ko na 'to, automatic parang 'yung voice makokopya ko na rin,” he further admits.
Despite being a jolly and fun guy, John Res lost his flair for making other people smile when his father died. But after having his son, he regained the strength to continue. “Kapalit ng pagkamatay niya is 'yung aking anak so bumalik ako sa dating ako na nagpapasaya ng tao, tumutulong sa kapwa.”
Kuya Kim commended John Res's strength and showed appreciation for his unwavering mission to make other people happy.
