Jesse “Reflex” Gotangco
Dance artist and educator Jesse “Reflex” Gotangco is a multi-awarded, international break dancing or b-boy champion. Reflex has represented the country in crew and solo battles both in the local and international scenes, winning his most recent championship titles in the R16 Southeast Asia solo battle in Singapore, and the 2-on-2 All-Styles Division in the Philippine Hip Hop Dance Championship.
Aside from being an accomplished dancer, Reflex is also a faculty member of the Ateneo de Manila University PE Department, as well as several dance studios. As a coach of the To The Top artists, he will certainly set high expectations in terms of grace, fluidity and artistic expression on the dance floor.
Reflex reminds them, “They have to keep training, and they have to push to excel because the moment you’re famous, that shouldn’t dictate success. What dictates success is your work. You can never be enough. If you’re a real artist, you keep pushing, you keep doing what you do."
