Multi-awarded comedian Michael V. admits he realized a lot of things while doing his directorial debut movie titled Family History.

“I discovered na hindi mo dapat i-underestimate ang kahit anong project,” said Michael V. on his latest Bitoy Story episode on his YouTube channel.

In the same vlog, Direk Bitoy also confessed that at the beginning he was under the impression that making a movie would be easy.

He later found out that doing a film is a lot more challenging than a regular TV show.

Bitoy told his YouTube viewers, “Iba pa rin pala kapag pelikula (laughs) para siyang TV show times 10!”

“Yung mga technical na aspeto, yung camera, yung ilaw, yung preparasyon dapat isaisip mo talaga.

“Never underestimate filmmaking kahit anong genre pa siya or kahit gaano kadali sa tingin mo gawin yung pelikula.”

Bitoy also answered Twitter user @bigfoot23754177’s question if he would stop making movies if Family History did not perform well in the box office.

Michael V. confidently replied, “Well no! Simula pa lang ito ng journey natin at kasama sa journey, e.

“Yung failure, kung mag-fail that means mayroon kang matutunan.

“At doon sa matutunan mo, puwede mo i-apply yan sa susunod na project mo.”

He added, “Kung mag-succeed naman, e, di kukunin mo yung aspeto ng pelikula na nagustuhan ng mga tao at ia-apply mo uli doon sa susunod na project mo pero mas pabobonggahin mo.”

“Definitely, hindi importante for me, hindi importante yung kikitain nitong pelikula, mas importante sa akin yung lessons na matutunan ko out of this.”

Get ready, mga Kapuso, for the grand nationwide showing of Family History on July 24.
