EXCLUSIVE: 'Bubble Gang' stars host block screening for 'Family History'

The whole gang behind the longest-running Kapuso gag show Bubble Gang is showing their full-support to their creative director and pioneer Michael V. by hosting a huge block screening for ‘Family History’ in a mall in Quezon City next week.
Organized by Boy 2 Quizon, Paolo Contis and Antonio Aquitania, it will be a star-studded event with current and past members of Bubble Gang attending the block screening in the Ayala Mall Vertis North on July 24.
In our exclusive chat with Boy 2 Quizon during the taping of the gag show yesterday, July 15, he revealed the reason why they decided to do this event for their one and only Direk 'Toy.
“It’s gonna be a Bubble Gang block screening right on the first day, so I decided to show him the love and at the same time make him feel na parang we are all united and we are all part of it.”
“Basically it’s me, Paolo (Contis) and Antonio (Aquitania) who are organizing it. Tapos we also invited 'yung mga icons ng Bubble Gang dati, so masaya kasi nasa Vertis North.”
Boy 2 added, “Bonding 'tsaka makita naman nila na 'yung growth and Direk 'Toy is exploring with this new kind of direction, which is really good for everybody, so masaya.”

Family History is the first foray of Michael V. in film directing and he chose an all-star cast for this movie.
In addition, this will also be the maiden project of Mic Test Entertainment, the production company founded by Direk Michael and his wife Ms. Carol Bunagan. GMA Pictures is co-producing the movie.
Boy 2 Quizon also couldn’t contain his happiness that his good friend will finally fulfill a life-long dream.
He also said that he feels a bit nostalgic because he witnessed how the multi-awarded comedian conceptualized this project from the very beginning.
“I’m actually happy kasi nakita ko 'yung kung paano niya pinalano, from the very beginning, from day one.
“Alam mo naman dito sa Bubble Gang para na kaming magkakapatid dito 'di ba, so ang isang project ng isa lalong-lalo na ang pinaka kuya namin sa lahat na si (Kuya Bitoy)...all in kami.
“Whatever he does, we are all part of it. Alam mo 'yung feeling na ganun,”
