Will Cynthia and Franco's love and dreams succeed in 'What We Could Be'?
After nine weeks, Miguel Tanfelix, Ysbel Ortega, and Yasser Marta-starrer What We Could Be is set to bid goodbye on television.
Its story will turn full circle as its finale teaser shows Cynthia (Ysabel) challenging Franco (Miguel) to bake Lola Onor's (Celeste Legaspi) recipe of pan de onor.
This is after Franco proposed to Cynthia to continue Lola Onor's legacy by making her Sta. Barbara property a historical landmark. It would be remembered that Cynthia was the rightful owner of the said property after the late elderly bequeathed it to her personal nurse.
Doubtful of Franco's motives, Cynthia will try her best not to get swooned by Franco again.
But Franco will do everything to please Cynthia and to reconcile with her after he caused so much pain to her former girlfriend.
In the teaser, Cynthia goes emotional when she tasted the pan de onor that Franco baked. Could this lead to a second chance for Cynthia and Franco? And what will happen to Lucas (Yasser)?
It could remind viewers of how the story of What We Could Be started where Lola Onor was the one testing Cynthia's baking skills. Moreover, if Cynthia was the underdog before, now, she learned how to be fierce and feisty after being betrayed by her own ex-boyfriend and misjudged by his family.
The last episode of What We Could Be airs this Thursday, October 27, 9:35 p.m. after Start-Up PH on GMA Telebabad.
