Matt Lozano expresses excitement over 'Voltes V: Legacy' mega trailer
Kapuso fans were in for a treat this Thursday afternoon (December 15) after singer/actor Matt Lozano had a virtual concert exclusively attended by select members of GMA fan club, Kapuso Brigade.
Matt performed his rendition of the songs "Habang Buhay" by Zack Tabudlo, "Minsan" by Eraserheads, "Stop This Train" by John Mayer," and "Ikaw Lang" by Nobita.
The Kapuso star also sang his own composition "Kwarto," and classic Pinoy Christmas song "Pasko Na Naman" that got avid GMA fans into the holiday spirit.
Matt also spent the afternoon giving updates about Voltes V: Legacy where he is one of the lead cast members.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, he expressed his excitement over the mega trailer of the live-action adaptation series which will be released this December.
Matt shared, "Ang sabi ni Direk Mark (Reyes), this is gonna be the official trailer of Voltes V: Legacy so ito nga 'yung tinatawag niyang mega trailer so I'm sure marami tayong aabangang mga bagong CGI at mga bagong iconic scenes doon sa trailer."
He knows that many Pinoy anime fans are eagerly anticipating Voltes V: Legacy but he assures that it will premiere very soon.
He said, "Currently nasa last leg na kami ng taping so meaning patapos na kami. Ilang days na lang ang ite-taping namin at nag-start na rin ng editing talaga ang Voltes V: Legacy so soon malapit na malapit na nating mapanood 'to."

Voltes: Legacy, written by Suzette Doctolero, bears the potential of being the Philippines' first serious epic sci-fi TV show as it is partnered with Toei Company, Ltd., the same company that brought the robot saga to life, and its local licensor Telesuccess Productions, Inc.
GMA also engaged the services of Riot Inc. Post-Production along with GMA Post Video graphics to handle the CGI and the live-action elements of the stories.
