Director Mark Reyes excited for the Japanese screening of 'Voltes V: Legacy - The Cinematic Experience'
The film version of megaseries Voltes V: Legacy is finally making it's way to Japan!
Earlier this year, director Mark Reyes revealed that Voltes V: Legacy - The Cinematic Experience, a movie which condenses the first few episodes of the series, was set to be screened in Japan.
The movie's official Japanese site finally confirmed that it will be showing in Japan starting on October 18.
The announcement also teased the addition of some scenes that did not make it to the Philippine version.
The film will also be remastered to improve the already impeccable CGI in the original.
A subtitled and dubbed version will both be released for Japanese viewers.
Direk Mark expressed his excitement for Japanese audiences to experience the film which reflects how much the Philippines cherishes Voltes V.
"Hello, Japan fans! I'm film director Mark Reyes. Congratulations on the launching announcement of Voltes V: Legacy. We hope that you will enjoy and feel our love and passion for Voltes V. Let's volt in!" he said in a video.
Voltes V: Legacy tells the story of brothers Steve, Big Bert, and Little John Armstrong, and their friends Jamie Robinson and Mark Gordon, who fight and protect the world from humanoid aliens called the Boazanians and their beastfighters.
The show stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho as the Voltes V team.
Voltes V: Legacy is a production from the GMA Entertainment Group, in collaboration with Telesuccess Productions and TOEI Company.
