Albert Martinez bids goodbye to his 'Voltes V: Legacy' character Dr. Smith

Albert Martinez bid farewell to his character in Voltes V: Legacy, Dr. Richard Smith, Camp Big Falcon's commander and one of the creators of Voltes V, and the father figure of the Armstrong brothers.

This was after he caught Ned's (Dennis Trillo) real identity after he scanned him through a device that showed the humanoid Ned's cyborg body, as seen in the action-drama's Tuesday episode (July 11, 2023).

Dr. Smith confronted the fake Ned right away and the latter attacked him and his guards, stabbing the commander with a retractable claw which led to his death.

Steve (Miguel Tanfelix), Mark (Radson Flores), Big Bert (Matt Lozano), and Jamie (Ysabel Ortega) continued to search for Ned and Dr. Smith, but they found nothing but Dr. Smith's lifeless body in Ned's room.

The four didn't have the time to grieve as another beastfighter, a giant turtle, suddenly appeared and attacked the Earth.

After Dr. Smith's death, who will now command the Camp Big Falcon?
