Dina Bonnevie shares some changes in her 'The World Between Us' character
Veteran actress Dina Bonnevie teased the viewers of The World Between Us as she gave some changes in her character, Rachel Libradilla.
During the show's media conference on November 17, Dina shared that Rachel will be wiser in the season return of the show.
She said, "Si Rachel kasi before the season break, very giving siya, e. She was very, maybe I should say, parang she was trying to condone everything that Brian was doing. Kahit na mali, magagalit siya pero hindi pa rin 'yung todong discipline na galit na galit."
Brian is Rachel's eldest child portrayed by Tom Rodriguez.
“But after the season break, Rachel becomes more, I should say, stricter because she begins to realize where she should put most of her eggs in. Para bang I'm not gonna put all of my eggs in one basket pero sino ba talaga ang dapat kong i-prioritize?” she added.
"She begins to change her priorities, sino ba talaga ang priority niya sa buhay? At nagtitingin na siya kung kanino niya pag-iiwanan 'yung business or kung sino ang idedevelop niya to be able to take on what she has already built with her husband," Dina shared.
The veteran actress promised that Rachel will not be as naive as before, especially that she already found out the truth behind Yachie's past with her husband.
Yachie was Rachel's head servant in their household portrayed by Jaclyn Jose.
"Rachel becomes more, maybe I'll say canny kasi nag-iisip na siya, e. Medyo nakakaramdam na siya na merong mga tinatago sa kanyang mga sikreto. So Rachel becomes more canny, 'yung talagang mag-i-imbestiga na siya, e. She begins to be more sensitive to things around her and she becomes, not selfish, [but] wiser,” she explained.
Dina continued, "Para bang,'Teka lang, ito minahal ko pero sino ba talaga ang mga deserving ng pagmamahal ko?' She begins to be more intrusive sa lives ng mga anak niya, chinecheck niya talaga.”
"Hanggang sa unti-unti nang mabubunyag ang mga sikretong naitago sa kanya and then that's what going to cause everything to be rolling, changing. Ito na."
The World Between Us airs Mondays to Fridays on GMA Telebabad after I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.
