Alden Richards thanks veteran actor Ricky Davao for joining 'The World Between Us'
Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards called veteran actor-director Ricky Davao one of the "pillars" of the Philippine entertainment industry as he thanked the latter for joining the cast of The World Between Us.
Alden and Ricky previously worked together in a TV movie of APT Entertainment titled The Journey that aired in 2019.
"Now that I've worked with Sir Ricky for medyo mahaba dito sa soap, it's a good experience. Of course, we all know that Direk Ricky Davao is one of the pillars of this industry," Alden shared during the media conference of The World Between Us on November 16.
"We are very much honored and happy that he was able to give us time para makatrabaho po kami dito sa show.
"Magaling po sobra. Nakakadala. So I'm really happy that he did become part of the cast of 'The World Between Us.'"
The viewers of The World Between Us have been wondering what Ricky Davao's character would be.
In a teaser, Louie Asuncion (Alden) first met Ricky's character inside the jail. When a warden shouted the name "Asuncion," Ricky was the one who responded to the shock of Louie.
The World Between Us airs Mondays to Fridays on GMA Telebabad afterI Left My Heart in Sorsogon.
