Shanelle Agustin earns praises from netizens by portraying young Lia in 'The World Between Us'
Kapuso actress Shanelle Agustin captured the hearts of viewers and netizens on her portrayal of the young Lia in GMA's primetime series The World Between Us.
Despite being a newcomer, Shanelle proved that she has what it takes to stay and shine in the show business.
In fact, a netizen even compared Shanelle to a young Anne Curtis during her time in T.G.I.S. (1997) and Anna Karenina (2001). Anne's younger sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith will portray the adult Lia in The World Between Us.

In a message to GMANetwork.com, Shanelle admitted that it was challenging to portray a role as complex as Lia. Nevertheless, she thanked all those who supported her on her first teleserye.
She said, "Challenging [si Lia] kasi in real life, malapit talaga ako sa mom ko but we have similarities din kasi sa character ni Lia like 'yung pagiging soft-hearted at marunong magpahalaga."
"Nakaka-overwhelm ['yung support ng mga tao] dahil siyempre kahit first teleserye ko ito, marami na ang natuwa sa pagganap ko bilang young Lia Libradilla."
