'The Clash 2023' announces final 6 contestants
In a few weeks, The Clash will have a new champion as it named its final six contenders in its latest episode that aired last Sunday, May 7.
After Liana Castillo, Rex Baculfo, Arabelle dela Cruz, Isaac Zamudio, and Jerome Granada secured their place in the competition, Mark Avila had to prove that he should be the last and sixth finalist of The Clash 2023 in an exciting duel.
Six eliminated contestants namely Jean Drilon, Mariel Reyes, Jemy Picardal, Jamie Elise, Nash Casas, and Zyrene Ciervo went back to the competition for a chance to beat Mark and fight for their spot in the finals.
In the "Clasback" battle, it was Mariel who reclaimed her spot in "Top of the Clash" where she performed her sexy rendition of "Di Na Natuto." Therefore, the 22-year-old Legazpi native had to face Mark in the "Matira Ang Matibay" round.
Mariel worked her way up to the top and outshone Mark in the last battle before the finals, singing "Alipin Ako" by Liezel Garcia.
She joins Liana, Rex, Arabelle, Isaac, and Jerome in the final six of The Clash 2023.

The Clash 2023 is hosted by Clash Masters Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz. It airs Sundays at 7:50 p.m. before Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho on GMA.
