Elle Villanueva pens emotional farewell dedicated to 'Return To Paradise' cast
Sparkle actress Elle Villanueva took to Instagram to bid farewell to the cast of the afternoon series Return To Paradise, which aired its finale episode yesterday, November 4.
The drama series served as Elle's big break in show business and gave her the chance to work with talented actresses like Eula Valdes and Teresa Loyzaga.
In her post, Elle wrote, “Can't believe #ReturnToParadise has finally ended. Why does time fly so fast when you're having fun? I'm extremely grateful to GMA for giving me my first teleserye & blessing us with an amazing team/ cast. This serye & the people in it will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope our career paths will cross again.”
Elle also thanked her leading man Derrick Monasterio for making the pressure that came with being a lead star more bearable.
She said, “Partner @derrickmonasterio you helped ease the pressure I was putting on myself. Moving forward, I can't imagine having to do it again without you, but I know that our journey doesn't stop with RTP.
“No matter where our careers take us I'll always cheer for you. As Red and Derrick thank you for lessening my fears.”
Before ending her post, Elle also shared how much it meant to her to play the role of Eden in Return To Paradise. The actress noted, “To Eden, thank you for helping me realize how much I love my job. It was a rollercoaster ride to play you, and as you grew so did I. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to play this strong, resilient, Filipina.
“Until we return to paradise, Eden Sta Maria”
Her co-stars, Derrick, Miss Eula, and Miss Teresa also commented on her heartwarming post saying that they will miss working with her on this project.
