Maureen Larrazabal on 'Pepito Manaloto' anniversary special: 'Ang daming abs'
Versatile comedienne Maureen Larrazabal is fresh off the anniversary and summer special shoot of the multi-awarded sitcom Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy Ang Kuwento in Batangas.
In her exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com this Thursday afternoon (March 27), she revealed some exciting details to watch for in their big anniversary episode.
“My God! Ang dami n'yo aabangan na mga abs. Mga naka-swimsuit ganiyan talaga,” Maureen quipped.
She the continued, “Napakaganda ng mga stories na prinepare ng Pepito Manaloto for everybody because it's our 15th anniversary. Imagine! Ganun kabilis, bata pa lang si Clarissa nung nag-start, ngayon dalaga na.”
“15 years na po, kaya 'yung fans namin palagi nandiyan, siyempre I wanna take this opportunity to invite all of you. We made a really special episode for you guys. Two-part po 'yun na episode para talagang sulit na sulit.”
Maureen explained that every time they shoot a summer special, it also serves as an opportunity for the whole cast and crew to bond and relax.
“Everytime na meron kaming summer episodes na ginagawa lagi naman kaming nagbo-bonding. Pero dito special bonding ang ginawa namin. Kasi from the time na nag-start kami, isang bus na talaga kami all together hanggang umuwi kami sama-sama.
“Tapos siyempre may konting kainan, may konting kantahan 'yan. Halo-halo.”
Aside from their anniversary, Pepito Manaloto also marked a special milestone after the comedy show took home the award for Best Comedy show at the 38th PMPC Star Awards for Television.
