Vic Sotto commends Maja Salvador's versatility as entertainer
Seasoned comedian Vic Sotto showered Maja Salvador with praises when asked about his experience working with her in the new sitcom Open 24/7.
Both Vic and Maja are the lead actors in the new sitcom of GMA Network, which is set to premiere on May 27, replacing Daddy's Gurl.
During their grand media conference at Seda Hotel in Quezon City last May 8, Vic mentioned that he immediately felt at ease acting with Maja.
“Ay, naku! Grabe! Ayun, may lagay na, ang galing,” Vic said in jest.
He then stated, “Si Maja [Salvador] naman we were together for almost two years sa Eat Bulaga. 'Tapos kababata pa niya si Pauleen [Luna].
“Close sila ni Pauleen, so hindi na siya iba sa akin, e. So nung nagka-casting kami, kasama si Maja palagay na agad ang aking loob, dahil alam ko naman, alam natin na she's a versatile actress.'
“'Di lang magaling umarte, magaling kumanta, magaling sumayaw. Lahat na, e.”
Vic plays the role of Boss EZ, while Maja portrays the kikay girl named Mikaela.
Completing the stellar cast of Open 24/7 are multi-talented comedian Jose Manalo and Sparkle love team Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo. Joining them are Riel Lomadilla, Anjay Anson, Kimson Tan, Abed Green, and Bruce Roeland.
