The magical bird Balasik has prophesized that half-human, half-Mulawin Alwina is the Sugo or the chosen one who will unite the bird men and the human race. As Alwina follows her destiny, a young Mulawin named Aguiluz is entrusted to protect her from the Ravenas, a group of bird men that sees humans as destructive to the environment that will do whatever it takes to bring the Sugo down.
