Beki Velo said that although she misses her loved ones and colleagues in comedy bars in the Philippines, she chose to stay in Japan as there are more work opportunities available for her there right now.

She also told Mars Camille and Iya that she wishes to come home soon to be reunited with her family, especially her son who will be celebrating his birthday soon.

In the meantime, Beki Velo is enjoying her time in the Land of the Rising Sun, meeting fellow Filipinos there and exploring all the good things that Japan has to offer.

During Beki Velo's Mars Pa More guesting, she also treated viewers to a virtual Japanese food trip as she and her pal try the amazing foods in Dotonbori Street in Osaka, Japan.

In the first restaurant she visited, Beki Velo tried their scallops and seafood hot pot, which is perfect for Japan's cold weather.

She then tried their fried squid, which is actually sold as a street food here in the Philippines. In Japan, they're worth 500 yen or around 200 pesos.

Beki Velo and her pal then tried a different kind of sushi. As many of you know, sushi is often wrapped in nori or seaweed wraps. But the sushi that Beki Velo and her friend tried was wrapped in some kind of vegetable leaf.
