If you've been doing the usual push-ups and wonder why you're not getting the exact result that you want, you probably need to make adjustments in order to target your problem areas or parts of your body that you want to enhance.

In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, Ruru shared some leveled-up variations of push-ups and explained which areas they enhance.

According to Ruru, regular push-ups where your arms are directly beneath your shoulders, are meant to target the chest or mid-chest.

However, if you want to make your pecs (pectorals or pectoral muscles) pop more, all you need to do is make your hands wider. This way the weight is transferred to your pectorals, instead of the triceps.

On the other hand, a decline push-up where your legs are elevated will target your upper chest and shoulder.

Here are all of the leveled-up push-ups that Ruru shared in Mars Pa More:

1) Wide push-ups
2) Hindu push-ups
3) Clap push-ups
4) Diamond push-ups

Watch and learn how these leveled-up push-up variations are done from Ruru's demo in Mars Pa More's 'Push Mo, Mars' segment above.
