Along with Korean pop music, fashion, movies, and TV series, Korean food is also fast growing in popularity worldwide.

One of the latest food trends that the Gen Z babies are currently crazy about is the Korean egg drop sandwich, which was first spotted by K-Drama drama fans in the series Hospital Playlist.

It's a hearty and easy-to-prepare sandwich that you can easily recreate at home.

Cop the recipe for the famous Korean egg drop sandwich below, as shared by actress Lianne Valentin on Mars Pa More's “Mas Masarap” segment.

Korean Egg Drop Sandwich

Ingredients:

bread

scrambled eggs

butter

Japanese mayonnaise

lettuce

luncheon meat

bacon

cheese

Procedure:

1. Toast the bread using a toaster.

2. Line the pan with butter.

3. Place the bread in the buttered pan.

4. Brush on more butter into the bread while heating it.

5. Place the toasted bread in the egg drop box.

6. Brush Japanese mayonnaise inside the bread.

7. Add lettuce.

8. Add pre-cooked luncheon meat.

9. Add pre-cooked bacon.

10. Add cheese.

11. Add scrambled eggs.

12. Sprinkle more Japanese mayonnaise on top of the fillings.

13. Add more bacon on top.
