Juancho Trivino shows support to a fan-made Padre Salvi merch
Maria Clara at Ibarra actor Juancho Trivino expressed his support for a local artist who created a mini crocheted doll of his character, Padre Salvi.
Artist Regine Rosca, who goes by the username of cielowish.handicrafts, recently posted a photo of her adorable handmade Padre Salvi mini doll on her Instagram.
"Si Padre Bernardo Salvi ay isang kathang-isip na Pransiskanong prayle at isa sa mga pangunahing tauhan sa mga nobela ni Jose Rizal na Noli Me Tangere at El Filibusterismo," she wrote in her caption.
And Juancho showed appreciation for the cute crocheted piece as he not only liked the post but also asked how he can order the doll.
The artist replied and said she intends to give it to the Kapuso actor.
"Gusto ko po itong ibigay sa inyo. Hindi ko lang po alam kung paano," Rosca said.
But Juancho said he is willing to pay for the mini-doll as he asked if the artist can produce a couple of hundred pieces.
"[C]an you produce around 150-200 pcs kaya? Hehe willing to pay," he said.
Juancho has always shown some love for his Maria Clara at Ibarra character and even posted several skits while in character.
Juancho bagged the Best Supporting Actor Award at the TAG Awards Chicago earlier this year for his role as Padre Salvi in the hit GMA serye.
