Padre Salvi from 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' visits furniture store, mocks Crisostomo Ibarra
Kapuso actor Juancho Trivino is back with another skit featuring Padre Salvi from hit historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra.
This time, he visits a popular furniture store with his companions Kiel Rodriguez who plays sacristan mayor Renato, and Roven Alejandro, the show's Spanish language coach.
Padre Salvi is supposedly looking for new furniture as he moves to a new place after accepting a new assignment in the monastery of Sta. Clara where Maria Clara (Julie Anne San Jose) is staying.
"Bago tayo lumipat sa ating bagong bayan, nais kong magpakitang gilas sa aking minamahal na Maria sa pamamagitan ng mga magagarang kagamitan.. Iyan ang ating hanapin ngayong araw," Juancho wrote on the caption of his post.
While heading to the store, the group is puzzled by some decorative wooden bars.
"Ito ba'y isang kwartel? Panoorin niyo ito," the priest says, gathering his audience.
He then proceeds to mock his nemesis, Crisostomo Ibarra (Dennis Trillo).
"Ako si Crisostomo Ibarra. Ako'y nakakulong sa kwartel," he says while fake crying and speaking in a high-pitched voice.
Padre Salvi is also charmed by a dual purpose cabinet which stores clothes and also has a mirror installed, a comfortable bed, and a set of hangers which he intends to use to punish wayward sacristans.

Maria Clara at Ibarra is entering it's 19th week where we see Padre Salvi getting a hold of a copy of El Filibusterismo from Klay (Barbie Forteza).
